Artisan Traders Required – Mount Briscoe Rare & Traditional Breeds Show

The inaugural Mount Briscoe Rare & Traditional Breeds Show, Sunday 30th July at Mount Briscoe, Daingean, Co. Offaly see www.mountbriscoe.ie

This one day agricultural show aims to showcase Ireland’s native and traditional breeds exclusively. If you are a food producer you are invited to exhibit and feed the audience attending! Whether exhibitor, judge, steward or general public.

The event is being held at Mount Briscoe Organic Farm and because of the inherent interest in rare & traditional breeds and the organic farming ethos of the organisers they are exclusively inviting only artisan producers to attend.

Organisers are much more interested in artisan producers setting up shop collectively and working together to provide lunch, snacks, beverages and treats.

The show seeks to promote and support food producers who are but not exclusively local, sustainable, handmade, seasonal, rooted in tradition, natural, organic and/or artisan. The ethos is simple but strict – the food is made in Ireland, is of great quality and that the people behind the stalls are the people who made the food.
