Clontarf Castle is among our most longstanding venues and features traders offering antique and vintage jewellery, decor, lighting, paintings, porcelain and glass, memorabilia, books and prints, rare coins, postcards, curios, and lots more.
Organisers are proud to be the longest organiser of antiques fairs (and now antiques and vintage fairs) in Ireland, a trusted source of interesting and beautiful previously-loved items from decades and centuries past.
The fairs are held year-round, usually twice a month, with events rotating between North and South Dublin, and occasional fairs at other venues around the country. At the fairs, you can discover the joys of bargain hunting, whether making a “find” for your collection, sourcing inexpensive and attractive bits and pieces for the home or beautiful jewellery and vintage fashion for yourself.
In a nod to changing tastes, the business was updated in 2009 with the addition of the Vintage Ireland brand, promoting events offering vintage fashion and 20th-century décor. Originally the Vintage Fashion and Décor Fair was a separate event, taking place twice a year; however, the interest in vintage, both in fashion and furnishings, has resulted in the Antiques Fairs Ireland / Vintage Ireland brands having more or less merged, with vintage fashion and 20th-century homewares being found alongside the traditional collector’s items and antique furniture at the regular antiques fairs. Clients who originally had no interest in “old” furniture have now become enthusiastic bargain hunters at the antiques fairs all year round, and appreciate the value and quality to be found at these events.
