The Galway Fringe Festival returns to Galway with a comprehensive programme of creative arts activities throughout Galway city and county.
The theme of the 2022 has yet to be confirmed, but expect some of the best local artists and community groups to bring unique and inventive drama, poetry, visual art installations, writing, music and dance to the fore in celebration the best of local talent.
Galway Fringe Festival is a multi-disciplinary, open-access arts festival that provides a platform for local emerging artist to showcase their work alongside more established artist. The festival encompasses Theatre, Visual Arts, Literature, Poetry, Traditional Arts, Dance, Comedy, Children’s events, Cabaret, Circus and Street Spectacle.
Running in parallel with the Galway International Arts Festival, the Galway Fringe Festival also supports the participation of local youth and community groups.
