Hungry for some rock music. Rockathon is Ireland’s largest and only outdoor music festival dedicated to Rock music. It has been created to meet the needs of the Irish Rock community who are not being catered for. Their target demographic are between the ages of 30 to 60 who love everything related to Rock music both past and present but have no large outdoor festival they can attend. Rockathon fills the gap in the market for this audience.
They are delighted to announce the long awaited return of their festival. The date they have chosen for this year’s Rockathon is the 28th May 2022 and returns home to Fairyhouse Racecourse. Rockathon will be first live outdoor music festival to be held in 2 years and they are receiving great traction and support.
Their festival is 10 hours of nonstop live music from new unsigned act and the best Tribute acts in Europe. They have 2 outdoor stages a fully licensed bar, camping facilities all held at a world class venue. Their event has a capacity of 5000 attendees.
