Presented by the Youghal4All group, Youghaloween Spooktacular is a festival celebrating the ancient festival of Samhain. This is a festival with Soul! So much going on that weekend – here’s just a little taster of what you can expect.
Spend the weekend in our beautiful town of Youghal and be brought back to a time when the ancients believed that the spirits walked the land. Watch as a gathering of witches perform a ritual on the beach to welcome home An Bhean Uisce. Join in the lantern parade around the medieval town of Youghal and see an amazing firework display. Visit the Forbidden Forrest…….
Do you dare visit the haunted town centre and walk through the enchanted market? Will you be brave enough to wait for the headless horseman as he gallops through the streets of Youghal? Take some time out and visit the Harry Potter Museum and listen to some ghostly stories. Make your own pumpkin and visit the witch-ling school and Knight school. Bring the kids along to a Halloween party. There is also a spiritual convention on the Sunday if you wish to attend. Join the Ghostly walking tour around our town. There is so much going on over the weekend, something for everyone – No other place in Ireland celebrates Samhain like we do.
