Beat on the Peat – A Festival of Music, Fun & Community!
Get ready for an incredible day at Beat on the Peat, where live music, local talent, and community spirit come together! Taking place at Moystown GAA pitch in Belmont, this festival promises an electric atmosphere with headline acts Ruaile Buaile and The Tumbling Paddies, alongside a fantastic lineup of performers.
But it’s more than just music! The West Offaly Music Festival Committee is offering local artists, craftspeople, and businesses the chance to showcase and sell their products, making this event a great opportunity to support homegrown talent.
Enjoy a variety of food stalls, including festival favourites from Foodalicious, as well as shops serving tea, coffee, sandwiches, and plenty of sweets and treats. For families, there are loads of fun activities, including drumming, soccer, face painting, and carnival games, plus dedicated play areas for kids of all ages.
Not only is this a great day out, but it also supports a great cause, raising funds for Belmont GAA’s five-year plan to develop a new training facility.
