Market 54 Thurles – weekly Saturday market, launching March 21st 2026.

Rooted in the centuries-old market tradition of Thurles, Market 54 Thurles is a weekly Saturday market bringing local food, crafts and community together in the heart of the town.

Set in the shadow of Thurles Cathedral, the market provides a welcoming space for local traders and visitors from Thurles and the surrounding areas. The market is licensed for up to 30 stalls, with a planned mix of traders including food vendors. Following the launch, the market will continue weekly on Saturdays dates TBC, with times to be confirmed.

Upcoming events include:

  • Saturday 12 September: Novelty Dog Show with lots of categories and prizes
  • Friday 23 October, from 5pm to 9pm: Market 54’s first Halloween-themed Night Market, featuring a Zombie Walk
