Celebrate at the Midsummer’s Eve Festival with Burren College of Art!

Join in for a magical evening under the Full Moon at the Midsummer’s Eve Festival, marking the triumphant return of this beloved event since 2019. Hosted by Burren College of Art, this festival promises a night filled with food, wine, beer, art, and music in the enchanting courtyard of Newtown Castle, celebrating the Summer Solstice and the 30th Anniversary of Burren College of Art.

Event Highlights:

  • Live Music: Dance the night away with performances by Bianco Sporco (Italian/Irish fusion from Galway), Galway Choro Ensemble (multinational/Brazilian and Latin sounds), and opening solo singer Matilda Krulder, a talented BCA student.
  • Food and Drink: Savor delicious offerings from Burren Food Trail members, including Burren Food & Wine, fresh Pouldoody Bay Oysters, Wildfire Gourmet Food Truck, Holy Crepes, Linnalla Ice Cream, and the Coffee Carlavan, catering to all tastes with vegetarian, dessert, and non-alcoholic options available.
  • Free Craft Workshops: Enjoy free craft workshops suitable for all ages, adding a creative touch to the festivities.
  • Aerial Performances: Be mesmerized by live aerial performances by Erebidae Circus, adding an extraordinary spectacle to the night.
