Please also share this link directly with anyone that you feel may also be interested and available.
The anticipated attendance is 500,000 to 600,000 and catering will be available in 8 to 10 welfare areas around the perimeter of the Papal mass site. Each welfare area can accommodate a maximum of 12 concession units and will serve a total catchment audience of 50,000 to 65,000. Generators, water tanks, toilets and hand wash facilities will also be available at these welfare points, which will also provide free public access to drinking water taps.
Gates will open at 6am and trading hours will be from 06.00 to 20.00. Trading is not permitted during the hours of 15.00 – 16.30 (Eucharist).
Cooking is not permitted on site. Reheating of dishes is permitted using electrical equipment only. Gas is not permitted.
The preferred type of catering provision would involve convenience snack foods such as sandwiches, crisps, fruit, nuts, biscuits / confectionery, soft drinks / water, tea & coffee.
In order to limit on-site storage, traders will be required to use the on-site designated supplier (wholesaler/distributor) should they require additional supplies.
Details are not yet finalised, however it appears that units will be required to be sited several days in advance of the event. Organisers will update traders on this and other developments as they respond and as organisers get more firm information.
Branding is not permitted at the event.
Applicants must also commit to use of recyclable materials and to prioritise the use of quality local and Irish ingredients as well a strict adherence to site safety and waste management policies.
Traders must also commit to providing catering at affordable prices and the organisers may enter into discussions with you directly as necessary.
There will be a service charge for concessionaires participating at the event which will reflect the costs of such services as electricity, ground cover, security, sanitary facilities, water and waste water supply and management. Successful applicants will be notified of the service charge on confirmation of their participation.
