The Laya City Spectacular takes place once again this year and there are a number of opportunities for traders to get involved. See below:
Irish Village Markets are delighted to request an expression of interest from you for participation at this year’s Laya Healthcare’s City Spectacular in Merrion Square, Dublin on the 9th & 10th July and at Fitzgerald Park, Cork on the 16th & 17th July.
In Dublin, all hot food concessions will be situated on the street at Merrion Square South. Teas, coffee, bakery and ice cream concessions will be placed inside the square.

The rates for this year’s event in Dublin (Merrion Square) are:
- Trailers – €1800 + VAT @ 23% + casual trading fees
- Pop-Up (fast food) 6 x 3 meter €1100 + VAT @ 23% + casual trading fees
- Pop-Up (fast food) 4.5 x 3 meter €750 + VAT @ 23% + casual trading fees
- Pop-Up (fast food) 3 x 3 meter €600 + VAT @ 23% + casual trading fees
- Pop-Up (artisan) 3m x 3 meter €350 + VAT @ 23% + casual trading fees (*artisan includes salads, vegan, vegetarian etc.)
- Coffees & ice cream €400 + VAT @ 23% + casual trading fees
- Bakery €330 + VAT @ 23% + casual trading fees
The rates for this year’s event in Cork (Fitzgerald Park) are:
- Trailers – €1200 + VAT @ 23% + casual trading fees

- Pop-Up (fast food) 4.5 x 3 meter €850 + VAT @ 23% + casual trading fees

Please note that all participants at this year’s festival will be required to offer a certain number of free meals to City Spectacular staff and volunteers and also accept a predetermined number of discounted vouchers for same.
The deadline for receipt of applications for both Dublin and Cork is the 31st May. Trading application form and casual licence trading form/forms must be sent to Irish Village Markets only. Irish Village Markets along the event organisers will review all applications received and advise of trading opportunities at the beginning of June.
