The Market was opened approximately ten years ago and will continue into the future at this location unaffected by Stewarts Oil who have leased the filling station in cooperation with the carboot sale & market. The Car Boot Sale is held on all year around on Sundays and caters for people who want to buy or sell anything from a book to a television to an old teapot, and now vehicle market (subject to photo ID, vehicle reg cert, insurance tax and nct valid before vehicle sale entry allowed) (Buyer and seller come together but items are sold as seen thus no liability is accepted by the market as items are bought strictly sold as seen!)
Buyer beware and bring your mechanic if you have any doubt and arrange to get vehicle checked prior to purchase. We will not be a car auction, just a stall front for you to sell the vehicle yourself or buy as the case may be. They especially encourage families to come along with the kids to see what is on offer and with the current economic climate the way it is at the moment pick up what you need at bargain basement prices while having a bit of banter with the traders.
It can also be an opportunity to get rid of some old gems and valuables that have been stored in the garage or attic and earn some hard earned cash on a Sunday afternoon (hoping the weather holds!).
