The weekly Market brings local food producers to the centre of the university. The Farmers Market initiative is part of a broader movement to encourage ethical consumption and sustainable development within the university.
A range of local produce is available including fruit & vegetables, pastries & breads, meet , jams & chutneys, juices, cheeses and vegetarian ready-meals.
Developed by the UL Environmental Committee and supported by the Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF), the Farmers Market puts the theory of sustainable living into practice – right at the heart of campus life.
The UL Farmers Market is open every Tuesday from 10am to 4pm in the Students Union Courtyard, University of Limerick. All are welcome to attend.
