The Galway Summer Market 2026 will take place every Wednesday, Thursday & Friday along with their usual Saturday’s & Sunday’s throughout July & August.
The Galway Market is a vibrant and historic market that has been trading for centuries in Church Lane, beside St. Nicholas’ Church in the heart of Galway City. The market is open every Saturday year-round from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and also on Sundays, Bank Holidays, Weds-Fri in July and August, and daily during the Galway Arts Festival from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. During the festive season, the Christmas Market operates daily from December 14th to 24th from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, providing a delightful array of homemade Christmas goodies in a beautifully decorated setting.
The St. Nicholas’s Market runs every Saturday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Sundays from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Additionally, a Summer Market operates on Wednesdays through Fridays in July and August.
