The Galway Summer Market 2026 will take place every Wednesday, Thursday & Friday along with their usual Saturday’s & Sunday’s throughout July & August.

The Galway Market is a vibrant and historic market that has been trading for centuries in Church Lane, beside St. Nicholas’ Church in the heart of Galway City. Known for its lively atmosphere and wide variety of stalls, this market offers everything from fresh local produce to handmade crafts and artisan food. Visitors can indulge in delicious options such as Madras curry, crepes, and sushi, along with many other treats.

The market is open every Saturday year-round from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and also on Sundays, Bank Holidays, Weds-Fri in July and August, and daily during the Galway Arts Festival from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. During the festive season, the Christmas Market operates daily from December 14th to 24th from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, providing a delightful array of homemade Christmas goodies in a beautifully decorated setting.

The St. Nicholas’s Market runs every Saturday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Sundays from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Additionally, a Summer Market operates on Wednesdays through Fridays in July and August.
