Granard Buttermarket was established in 1892 and traded until 1924. Butter was made at home and sold in the Buttermarket at Market Street, Granard. After a deep breathe, the market is starting to come alive again with great spirit of community cohesion.
The weekly market takes place every Saturday 11am-3pm. They have a market and coffee morning on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month.
