Bloom 2021 cancelled

Another Disappointing Announcement for Event Lovers

It’s another blow for the events and markets community, as Bord Bia has officially confirmed the cancellation of Bloom 2021,  one of Ireland’s most anticipated summer festivals.

This is a difficult announcement not just for those who attend Bloom every year, but for the many businesses, traders, producers, and entertainers who rely on major events like this for income, exposure, and connection with customers. The cancellation is a reminder of how far-reaching the impact of ongoing restrictions continues to be across the events sector.

We know how frustrating this news is, particularly as many were holding out hope that summer 2021 might mark a return to large-scale gatherings. The lack of certainty and long lead times required for planning events like Bloom have left organisers with no real choice but to cancel early.

We’ll continue sharing updates and opportunities for smaller-scale events as they arise. In the meantime, we’re thinking of all those affected and remain hopeful for brighter seasons ahead.
