Casual Trading Licences – Galway City 2026

Galway City Council is now inviting applications from traders interested in securing a Casual Trading Licence for 2026. Licences are available for:

  • St. Nicholas Market, Churchyard Street (Saturdays and Sundays)

  • Eyre Square Market (Monday to Saturday)

The trading period runs from 1 January to 31 December 2026.

Applications must be completed and submitted online via the Galway City Council website: www.GalwayCity.ie/CasualTradingLicence.

The closing date is 4:00pm, Friday 24 October 2025. Late applications will not be accepted.
