Cork County Council, in collaboration with Creative Ireland, is now accepting applications for the Creative Start-Up Scheme 2025. This initiative aims to support artists, designers, craftspeople, and small retailers in establishing or expanding their presence in Cork County.

The scheme welcomes proposals for:

• Permanent, temporary, or seasonal pop-up shops in vacant retail spaces.
• Small retailers looking to feature more artists or makers or to enlarge their current retail footprint.

Successful applicants may receive up to €5,000 in funding, along with business guidance and mentorship from the Local Enterprise Office. Projects must commence no later than 1st November 2025. The deadline for applications is Thursday, 19th June at 5:00 PM.
