"Meeting Dermot: The Heart of Clonee Market"

One of the first faces we encountered was Dermot, the driving force behind Clonee Market. Busy yet brimming with enthusiasm, Dermot welcomed us warmly and generously shared his vision for the market’s future. It was evident from our conversation that Dermot possessed a genuine passion for markets and market trading, coupled with a wealth of experience running markets and having his own successful market trading business venture in the past “which he is still juggling in the background”. His affable nature and evident dedication left us confident that Clonee Market was in capable hands.

We learned that Clonee Market is set to become a bi-weekly affair, with plans underway to potentially expand into other locations in the future. Dermot’s ambition and commitment to fostering a thriving market community were palpable, filling us with excitement for what lies ahead.

"Exploring Clonee Market's Vibrant Vibe"

Our stroll through the market was a feast for the senses, with each stall offering a unique array of handcrafted delights and delectable treats. From intricately designed crafts to mouth watering culinary creations, there was something to captivate every visitor’s interest.

But perhaps the most rewarding aspect of our visit was the opportunity to connect with the passionate individuals behind each stall. From seasoned artisans to budding entrepreneurs, the traders at Clonee Market shared their stories with us, offering glimpses into their entrepreneurial journeys and the inspiration behind their creations. It was heartening to witness such a sense of camaraderie and mutual support within the market community especially at such an early stage of the markets development, reaffirming the vital role that markets play in fostering local talent and creativity.
