The Listowel Food Fair is gearing up for its 30th anniversary, running from Thursday, November 6th to Monday, November 10th, 2025. This milestone event continues to spotlight Ireland’s vibrant artisan food scene, offering a platform for emerging producers to showcase their creations.

Kerry LEO Best Emerging Artisan Food Competition 2025

A standout feature of the fair is the Kerry LEO Best Emerging Artisan Food Competition, a long-standing tradition that has propelled many local food businesses into the spotlight. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Eligibility: Open to all emerging artisan food producers, regardless of location. The key criteria are that your product is handcrafted and has been in production for two years or less.

  • Categories:

    • Savoury Baked Goods

    • Sweet Treats, Cakes, Chocolates, Sweet Baked Goods

    • Beverages – Alcoholic & Non-Alcoholic

    • Condiments – Jams, Chutneys, and Sauces

    • Free-from and Health Products

  • Closing Date: The final date to submit your entry is Wednesday, October 15th.
  • Judging will take place on Thursday, October 21st  (Now changed to) 29th at the hotel.
