How to Apply to Trade?

Coal Quay Market is a long established street market in the heart of Cork City and operates under licence from Cork City Council.

Traders interested in applying for a stall must complete the official application process through the council. At present, traders at the market have formed a small committee and are offering to help new applicants understand the process and prepare their application.

They are particularly keen to welcome craft makers, artisan food producers, and small hot food businesses who would like to trade in a traditional city centre market environment.

If you would like guidance before applying, you can contact the traders’ committee directly and they will be happy to point you in the right direction and share their experience of the market.
