So what’s in store for 2021.

Will Events open this year?

Under current restrictions, events have not yet been given permission to operate at this time.

However agreements have been made to allow a return to opening trade shows and exhibitions under level 1 & 2, with industry guidelines that have been approved by government.

Unfortunately, we are still in very uncertain times. Many organisers need substantial advance planning & resources to confirm & run events. As such, many therefore may not operate this year due to the uncertainty, while others are not currently in a position to confirm whether or not events may take place.

When can Markets Operate

Level 5

Essential Retail only. Markets predominantly involved in the sale of food only, provided adequate social distancing and public health guidelines can be implemented. (unless specifically noted otherwise.)

Level 4

Primarily Outdoor Retail Essential Retail only. Once adequate social distancing and public health guidelines can be implemented. (unless specifically noted otherwise.)

Level 3

Outdoor Retail is permitted. Once adequate social distancing and public health guidelines can be implemented. (unless specifically noted otherwise.)

Level 2

Indoor & outdoor Retail is permitted. Once adequate social distancing and public health guidelines can be implemented. (unless specifically noted otherwise.)

Level 1

Indoor & outdoor Retail is permitted. Once adequate social distancing and public health guidelines can be implemented. (unless specifically noted otherwise.)

Can my class operate this year.

As we came to understand during restrictions last year, many of those teaching /providing a class would be familiar with how and when they can operate safely, largely depending on the level of restrictions in force at any given stage.
