As some of you may already be aware, South Dublin County Council is in the process of updating its Casual Trading Bye Laws for 2016.
These proposed changes include a number of amendments to the current system, most notably, a substantial increase in licence fees. This has raised serious concerns among the trading community, and we have made a formal submission to the council outlining these issues on behalf of our members.
We strongly encourage all traders operating under casual trading licences within the South Dublin County Council area to review the proposed bye laws and make their own submissions through the official consultation portal.
