As some of you may be aware, South Dublin County Council are in the process of updating the Casual Trading bye laws for 2016. Contained within the proposed by laws are a number of changes to the current set up which we are extremely concerned about and have made submissions to the council in regard to, specifically the substantial increase in licence fees.
We urge all members holding casual trading licences in the South Dublin County Council area to check out the proposed by laws at www.consult.sdublincoco.ie/en/consultation/public-consultation-draft-casual-trading-bye-laws-2016 and make their own submission via the consultation portal.
Remember people, you need to let the council know if you are unhappy with any aspect of the proposed updates and the more submissions are made, the louder your collective voices will be heard.
