Despite the impending heatwave, Wicklow Christmas Market is already gearing up to be bigger and better this Christmas.

Wicklow Christmas Market 2022 

We are delighted to announce that the Wicklow Christmas Market returns bigger and better for 2022, starting from the weekend of the 19th of November through until the 18th of December. 

It gives us great pleasure to announce that the incredibly popular Eco Ice Rink returns this year and will be 60% bigger than 2021. 

The Market is FREE to the public, with over 50 twinkling chalets offering food, activities and entertainment for the whole family. 

Start your Christmas shopping, visit Santa and spend the day enjoying the sights and sounds of Christmas. 

Wicklow Christmas Market is the perfect way to ring in the festive season.   

Activities will include: 

• Food vendors offering culinary delights from around the globe. 
• Local artisans selling handmade crafts, gifts and art. 
• Fun Fair including carnival rides and games. 
• Visit with Santa and his elves. 
• Alpaca experience.  
• Fire show. 
• Stilt walkers. 
• Live music and entertainment. 
• The Eco Ice Rink. 

Located within the Wicklow Christmas Market is the Santa Express, an interactive opportunity to take a magical trip to the North Pole and to Santa’s house.  

Step aboard Santa’s enchanting new express train and travel in style to the North Pole with Oribel, Santa’s head elf, as the conductor. 

Once at the North Pole, families will be entertained by the mischievous Elf and Safety and Mrs. Claus. 

Then of course, there will be the chance to get to visit with Santa Claus himself, take a picture with Santa, and post a letter at Santa’s official post box.
